Overview
Dee’s Angels is a family run 501(c) 3 tax-exempt non-profit organization created in the memory of Dee Spicer. Dee was such a wonderful and caring person, we thought it fitting to create a vehicle enabling us to continue her legacy of trying to make people’s lives a little better. Dee worked in the medical field for over 25 years, receiving her nursing degree from Gateway Community and Technical College. It was simply in her nature to take care of others. As her four children can attest, she would fight fiercely to make sure people were treated with the utmost respect. Through the years, many of her patients became close friends. Unfortunately, Dee lost her battle with cancer in 2015. We have formed this non-profit in the hopes of helping others as she would undoubtedly still be doing.

For those who volunteer to help with any of our events and programs, I know you will not only have a good time, but feel good doing it. Helping others is a feeling you can’t describe.
